Taking into consideration the military operations within the territory of the Republic of Ukraine and hundreds of thousands of innocent Ukrainians who face the inability to fulfill their basic life needs, we kindly ask you to provide our Foundation with financial or material support in helping citizens affected by this conflict.
The “Kaganek” Foundation provides material assistance directly to Ukraine. We’ve managed to organize an efficient transportation networks that enable us to deliver our loads straight to Lviv. This solution allows for much more efficient deliveries. Thanks to the cooperation with our founder – the Świętokrzyskie Mines of Mineral Resources we are equipped with an appropriate technical background.
The company has made its trucks available to our Foundation and covers transport costs. The founder’s employees – experienced drivers – volunteered to drive on a risky and unpredictable route to Lviv. Our partner and the recipient of help on the Ukrainian side is the Religious Mission “Caritas Spes”, the Archdiocese of Lviv.
Being engaged in charity work for many years on the basis of the structures of the Catholic Church, the organization has the knowledge of the region and local conditions. The material support it receives is sent to the areas of Ukraine most affected by the devastation of the war, including war zones. The support we have sent so far has been delivered to i.a. Zaporizhia, Kryvyi Rih and Irpien. Caritas provides us with precise information on places of destination.
Every prolonged armed conflict causes a gradual decline in the interest of the media, and simultaneously – of the widely defined community. The ongoing conflict begins to be regarded as a part of a “normal” reality. Consequently, we may observe the emergence of mindsets that “we have already done everything possible for the victims” and all that remains is to wait passively for the end of the conflict.
This attitude is, apparently, beneficial to the plans of the aggressor. The more indifferent the society becomes, the more freely he can act. Who suffers most? The weakest participants in the conflict – ordinary people who have been forcibly deprived of their right to a normal, decent life. This is the moment when the burden of organizing and delivering support should be taken over by specialized institutions in order to maintain continuity.
At the “Kaganek” Foundation, we are aware of this problem. Therefore, we intend to undertake any measures not to “get used to the war”. Communication channels, technical background and committed people – this is what we already have. All we need is more cargo to deliver.
Implementation of humanitarian assistance in several steps:
- We organize the most necessary goods in Poland. They have to be transported on pallets. One truck can hold 30 pallets. If someone would like to support us with, i.e. 2 pallets of products, we are able to store them until the full load is collected.
- Our company’s drivers transport goods to the “Caritas Spes” warehouse in Lviv using our company’s vehicles.
- “Caritas Spes” in Lviv sends the received goods to the areas of Ukraine most affected by the devastation of the war, including war zones i.a. Zaporizhia, Kryvyi Rih and Irpien. Caritas provides us with precise information on places of destination.
Within the period 28/03/2022 – 09/05/2022 we organized 10 transports in which we delivered the following amounts of goods to Ukraine:
